Spodumene Concentrate (Lithium Aluminium Silicate) : 7% Li2O Lithium can be a valuable component in glass making due to its low thermal expansion properties, it is also used in ceramic/enamel glazes to reduce melting temperature and the viscosity of the glaze melt as well as the linear thermal expansion properties of the finished glaze. Lithium is a very powerful flux, especially when used in combination with potassium and sodium feldspars.
